Irene Jenkins
Graduate Students
Irene is from Roanoke, Va. She majored in biochemistry and nanoscience at Virginia Tech and minored in chemistry. Within the Chilkoti lab she is interested in fusing immunotherapy techniques with ELP delivery to create an improved therapeutic. In her free time she enjoys exploring Durham’s expansive food scene, shooting archery, trying her luck at bingo, and dog watching.
