Mingnan appears to do some sort of ELP work but also may work with surfaces.  At the moment it's unclear to the webmaster.  It is clear, however, that Mingnan has been spotted driving a Lincoln.  This just in:  Mingnan develops "smart" and immune-capatible ELP drug carriers for cancer treatments!  Go, Mingnan!

Sterling Alfred

Sterling is a weathered polymer chemist from the Caribbean who's branched out to explore northern latitudes.  Given his recent stint just above 42° N, he's excited about the relatively tropical latitude here in Durham (35° N) as it's a step closer to 10° N where he spent his younger years.  Sterling is determined to use his chemistry trickery to expand our ever-growing ELP drug delivery tool box.

Hua came from the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she worked on very interdisciplinary projects.  As such, she works on very interdisciplinary projects in the Chilkoti Group as well (i.e., projects that walk a fine line between ELP and biointerface science!).
