Traveling salesman uncorks synthetic biology bottleneck

January 5, 2016

Congratulations to Nick and Tosh for their paper in Nature Materials that solves the major bottleneck in the assembly of long repetitive DNA sequences. See also ([1],[2], [3] and [4]) and the open source Matlab code (see Codon Scrambler above) to design genes with repetitive DNA sequences that can be easily assembled in one step.
